👋 My name is Yulia Khalniyazova, I write some of my thoughts here. If you wanna know more about me:

I work as a cryptography researcher and protocol developer

💾 The last few years I've been doing cryptographic research trying to solve various problems in the context of distributed systems and desinging a cryptographic component known as the resource machine

🤓 Professionally, I specialize in cryptography and security more generally. I enjoy designing and building secure (cryptographic) protocols

🩶 I have feelings for good structure and human agency

I studied information security and cryptography. I have background in engineering and computer systems

📚 My education combined math, lots of engineering, and the fascinating world of security failures

🎮 During my university years I enjoyed playing CTFs. I also played with cryptopals, cryptohack, project Euler, advent of code, that kind of stuff

💎 My non-professional interests include humans (everything about how our minds and bodies work), non-modern visual art, sports (and many other things)
